Many thanks to all the families who took part in our Summer Scheme this year! We had three weeks of fun, with creative workshops, mindfulness, and lots of opportunities for free play.
Week 1: 17th – 20th July
The first week of the Summer Scheme started with a family trip to Newcastle, where our kids and their families enjoyed Cocos Adventure Playground, as well as the beach and other amusements in the town!
Then for our in-house sessions with Clayrazy and Bricks 4 Kidz, the kids made Mario and astronaut figures from clay, as well as some Lego 3D and 2D mosaics. On Thursday we also had a visit from some beasties.
Week 2: 24th – 27th July
The second week of our summer scheme started with another family trip, this time to Bangor, where the kids and their families explored Pickie Fun Park!
Then for our in-house sessions again with Clayrazy and Bricks 4 Kidz, the kids made slime, did some more Lego mosaics, and made Lego Technic cars!
Week 3: 31st July – 3rd August
The third and final week started with a family trip to Carnfunnock Family Fun Park!
Then for the in-house sessions the kids took part in some mindfulness workshops with Emily from Connect Within NI, and arts and crafts with Trisha!
