On Wednesday the 19th of October, Ballynafeigh Community Development Association welcomed assessors from the Academy of Urbanism, along with local elected representatives, to learn about the Ballynafeigh neighbourhood and some of the community work that takes place in the area.
Ballynafeigh has been nominated for the Neighbourhood Award in the Academy of Urbanism’s 2023 Urbanism Awards, alongside Govanhill in Glasgow, and Marmalade Lane in Cambridge.
The assessors went on to meet with community groups, churches, and business owners in the area.
