Talking Therapies
The service delivers talking therapy sessions, with clients referred to the service by their GP via the Mental Health Hub. Each client receives up to 6 one on one face-to-face or online sessions with a fully qualified Life Coach or a Psychological Talking Therapist, as appropriate. Men’s Shed
Ballynafeigh Men’s Shed project is a partnership project between BCDA and Belfast City Council for men over the age of 50 years. It is held in Ormeau Bowling Pavilion on Tuesday and Thursday and in Annadale Community Centre Monday and Friday from 11am-1pm Activities include Cookery Skills, Gardening, Music and Reminiscence, Arts Workshop, Table tennis workshop, and occasional trips.
Seniors Engagement Programme
During the year we received a much needed grant from the Ormeau Credit Union which enabled us to carry on working with this age group of residents. The Advice Services at Ballynafeigh Community House is a part of an Advice Consortium covering all of South Belfast.
