Upcycle your clothes! Hosted by Climate Craic
Fast fashion fuels a throwaway culture that harms our planet. But what if we could turn the tide—one piece of clothing at a time? Join us for a hands-on workshop to explore the true cost of fast fashion and learn creative ways to re-purpose old clothes and fabrics in unique, stylish pieces. In this workshop we will make scrunchies and tote bags!
Bring your friends and family and dive into activities like using a sewing machine to create scrunchies and tote bags, mini embroidery, painting, and simple hand stitching. No experience is needed. Just bring your clothes, which could do with a bit of TLC!
Whether you’re a DIY pro or a beginner, this workshop is for you.
Practical Information:
– Best to bring your own clothes, but we will also have some if you aren’t able.
– Bring any fabrics you would like to make into a scrunchie or tote bag – old scarves,
